Privacy policy

MazeShift is provided by Tomas Windahl. No player account is required. The game does not request access to the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or precise location.

Game information

MazeShift stores progress, chamber checkpoints, local records, audio preferences and advertising frequency on your device. It does not send your maze routes or scores to a developer-operated server. Deleting the app normally removes this local information; device backups and restore may retain it.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional, non-consumable MazeShift Premium purchase. The app uses verified Apple transactions to determine access, including restored and revoked purchases. The developer does not receive your card number. Purchase history is held by Apple; deleting the app does not cancel ownership. Restore purchases is available in Settings and on the Premium screen.

Advertising and privacy choices

The free version integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Ads are requested without personalization, and the publisher first-party identifier is disabled. MazeShift does not request permission to access IDFA. These choices do not eliminate all advertising data processing.

Google's advertising services may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device/app identifiers and information, ad impressions and interactions, crash reports and performance diagnostics to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud and improve services. Google and its advertising partners may process information outside your country. Their practices and retention periods are explained in Google's privacy policy and advertising information.

Where required, a consent form is presented before eligible ad requests. You can review or withdraw choices in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Declining a choice does not remove free game access; whether limited ads can be requested is determined by the consent platform. Premium disables future ad requests and removes ads, but does not automatically delete information already processed by Google.

Your choices

You can change sound/music preferences, review ad privacy choices, restore Premium and delete local game data by removing the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to processing or withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the developer using the public support contact to discuss a request; data held by Apple or Google is also subject to their own request procedures.
